A beautiful and efficient visual identity project goes way beyond the logo, it is the integral base of any branding project. A solid and well thought out design will scale and help create a consistent image for any company and its services. The amount of work and iterations required is aplenty but the result is, as you can see in this post, incredible.
The inspiration for this post is a branding project for Platige, a Design studio from Warsaw, Poland. This specific project encompasses all requirements necessary to create an efficient visual design work, from the sketches for the logo, collateral pieces to gift cards.

WOOLGOOLGA FALLS – SHERWOOD NATURE RESERVE – MID NORTH COAST – NSW, AUSTRALIA
I fell in love with this place the very first time I discovered these falls. I decided to take the time to explore the forest in a bit more depth this time and discovered some new compositions which really bring out the true beauty of this gem spot. The lighting wasn’t exactly perfect to be shooting in the forest, however I managed to make the most of the harsh light. This shot is my favourite so far. I can’t wait to visit again and discover new angles and expand both my own and the locations potential.

Beautiful subalpine woodland caught in the magic lighting on top of the huge granite boulders in Cathedral Rock National Park.
Dorrigo Supermoon
DORRIGO MOUNTAIN – DORRIGO – NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA
This May was a supermoon, as much as 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other full moons of 2012. Although the moon is 14% bigger, it can be tricky to really put it’s size into perspective while it’s hanging high in the sky with no real sense of scale. There are no rulers to measure the lunar diameters… The best time to look up at the night sky at the moon is when the moon is near the horizon. This image was captured from the end of Dorrigo Skywalk at dusk as the moon rose above the Bellinger Valley from the Pacific Ocean. In the distance you can see the ocean horizon.

The full moon illuminates the New England Tabelands, casting beams of light through an old gumtree while the stars trail through the atmosphere above. Simply magical!
Cathedral Rock Dawn
CATHEDRAL ROCK NATIONAL PARK – NEW SOUTH WALES – AUSTRALIA
The view from the top of Cathedral Rock National Park as dawn breaks the New England Tablelands. This was a very cold and windy morning after a freezing cold night in -2 frost on top of the rock, sensational atmosphere but damn chilly! The chain in this photo in the bottom right third is used to pull yourself up the giant granite boulders to the top of the rock. This should give you more of an idea of how epic this landscape really is.
Duplicate Falls
EBOR FALLS – GUY FAWKES RIVER – NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA
Ebor Falls are located on the Guy Fawkes River near the township of Ebor and about 37 kilometres north-east of Wollomombi on Waterfull Way in the New England Tableland region. I’ve always wanted to climb to the bottom of the falls and fortunately enough my partner spotted a little path which took us down to the base of the gorge. The view of the falls is spectacular from the bottom, it definitely puts it into perspective from down below. Unfortunately the conditions weren’t anything special so I had to make do with the clear skies and harsh light. All in all though I am happy with the outcome and will be heading back to capture it in some better light soon.
Tropical Oasis
EMERALD BEACH – MID NORTH COAST – NEW SOUTH WALES, AUSTRALIA.
Magical light spilling into a coastal cave off Emerald Beach. Such a great find. It’s a very tricky location to access, it’s impossible to get inside the cave once the tide rises. I have a few ideas for the future from this spot. Stay tuned!

Magical conditions make for stunning photos, simple as that! This shot was one of the most rewarding images from my trip to the North Coast. An impalpable sunset from one of the most mind blowing locations I have visited so far in my photography career. The surreality of this landscape is simply amazing and very diverse. Don’t let the rolling dunes fool you into thinking this is an outback desert scene. Myall Lakes National Park is massive! This park includes one of the state’s largest coastal lake systems, as well as over 40 kilometres of beaches, giant sand dunes and areas of forest catchment. I cannot wait for my next visit and the chance to spend more time exploring the place.

The setting sun illuminated the valley as if it was a fairytale. I found these secluded falls tucked away in the valley.

Incoming wave washes ashore the Gold Coast Coastline before a spectacular sunset. It’s really amazing just how close the high rises are built to the beach. They’re literally sitting on sand dunes. I guess that’s what you get when you pay top dollar to stay in an apartment overlooking the ocean.

Dusk breaks into twilight as all the city lights start burning in the high rises along Surfers Paradise. This is probably one of my all time favourite vantage points of the city, can’t beat it from any other location in my opinion.

730 meters above sea level, Dorrigo sits near the edge of the New England escarpment. Griffith’s Mountain Lookout is one of the most impressive lookouts on the eastern coast of Australia. This image was captured just on dusk while there was still sunlight spilling from the right of frame casting long shadows across the ranges. The distant Supermoon slowly rises over the South East which was a spectacular sight!
